The Iranian boat asks the
American ship to switch radio channels from channel 16 to channel 11,
and Mike Nizza an Iran Affairs Blogger for the
says that Ch. 16 is close to American CB chatter and surmises that the
channel was interrupted by a prankster who made the outrageous threats,
coming off as a sound over video. It may have also been the radio room
guys goofing off.
The Iranian is seen and heard continuing to speak on Ch. 16, forgetting he had asked to switch to Ch. 11, then realizes he is speaking to no one, and asks his assistant (off camera) to change channels and you can hear the beeps as the channel is changed. Is this the goofball Iranian "Revolutionary Guard" we should tremble in fear of? More like the "Gang that couldn't shoot straight"
In any case, it
appeared that the U.S.
Navy Admiral has "clarified" military claims (read 'comes clean'), and
admits he has no idea where the voice came from and at first retracted accusations
('misperceptions') regarding the Iranians to ABC News
On the other hand, it appears
since 2002 that the Navy (read Dick Cheney), have been hankering for a fight
with the Iranians, practicing this exact speedboat scenario in a previously
un-disclosed, un-reported ,$250MM USD war game, where 'Blue Team' lost, done
over until 'Blue Team' won. Sound like "Missile Defense"?
In an interview Friday, reported by the (compromised) Associated Press, Adm.
Mike Mullen, US Joint Chiefs Chair characterized the incident as a "clash",
which it certainly was not, and described it as "provocative and dramatic",
(Watch Amy Goodman's "Democracy Now" take on this & the

of Tonkin ). Realplayer
Is this what is called a "False
Flag"? Perhaps it was the "Philippino Monkey" according to the
Martha Radditz and Barbara Starr, what's their deal, eh?
